The details
Colleges would lose access to federal student loans and grants if they authorize, facilitate, fund, or otherwise support any campus event promoting antisemitism. The condition is written into the program participation agreement every school signs in order to take part in federal student aid. Antisemitism would be defined by the working definition the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance adopted on May 26, 2016, including the contemporary examples that group cites. Because the condition attaches to a school's overall eligibility, a violation could cut off aid for every student enrolled there.
