If you visit the National Mall in Washington, a new monument will stand in its heart. It honors people who earned the Medal of Honor. Congress already approved the monument in an earlier law. This law picks the spot. Federal law keeps new monuments out of that core area, known as the Reserve. This law makes one exception. Every other rule for monuments there still applies. It became Public Law 119-104 on September 10, 2026.
