If you visit the National Mall in Washington, a new monument would stand in its heart. It would honor people who earned the Medal of Honor. Congress already approved the monument in an earlier law. This act picks the spot. Today's law keeps new monuments out of that core area, known as the Reserve. This act makes one exception. Every other rule for monuments there would still apply. The Senate passed it in March 2026. The House has not voted.
